Annotations
RRV data is partial, as it has not yet encompassed a full calendar year. The values are subject to change in the coming months.
Vehicle performance statistics are based on average of all vehicles of a given type operating in Wales, this contains two models with different specs for RCVs.
Drive range is estimated assuming a battery use of 80%.
Compared to a diesel equivalent truck.
Values obtained as per guidance of DEFRA for company reporting (2023).
CO₂ emissions stated on a well-to-wheel (WTW) basis which considers of all emissions from the fuel extraction until its final use in a vehicle. CO₂ stated as CO₂e includes other GHG emissions on a CO₂ equivalence basis.
Values estimated using COPERT emissions factors for the given vehicles.
Values obtained as per guidance of the WelTAG data book (Jul 2023).
Long-term prices based on 7-year estimate from HM Treasury: Green Book 2023 – 2030 (18.3 p/kWh ,1.27 £/L).
Night rate electricity is used to highlight the optimal usage pattern to maximise savings (10.3 p/kWh).
